Simtek is no problem for your car ScoobyP1 the price is £895+vat supplied, fitted and custom mapped. This includes the facility to run 2x full switchable maps for different fuels if thats of interest to you.

Is two hours enough time to do a twin map on the SimTek??? I would like Andy to do me a map for a higher boost (eat my dust) setting and a map at a lower boost (B road rally) setting...

Also, thinking about this logically I have the best part of a 2.5 hour drive down to South Wales, would it be possible for me to have the 10am slot on the 15th???

wrx,sti needed the 10 to 12 spot, might be able to swap with p1lee, that should give you a few hours. Andy needs to be at airport by 3. If you are not sure where to take him, I can pick him up at about 2.25 from J33. If you can take him to airport it gives you an extra 35mins mapping.

SO. Would you like to swap with p1lee Rich and take the 12 oclock slot.?

Rich, 2 hrs should be fine as I have already sorted all the idle/town/cruise settings and they will not be affected by the new fuel pump/intercooler set up so we can spend all the time sorting the power mapping
There is time available if it takes longer, timings above are just guidelines for planning purposes.

Andy, cool on the timings I just didn't want to mess the day up for the others if the twin mapping on the SimTek took extra time... I will sort my ECU casing this weekend and send yours back on Monday...

how much is an ecuteck map with andy

To remap an existing Power FC is £280+v
Ecutek custom remap including licence for MY99- MY06 is £500+v
A remap of one of my previous Apexi/Ecutek maps is £195+v
To supply, fit and map a new Apexi PFC and Commander is £795+v

Travelling would be £200 for day 1 and £80 each subsequent day,
split between all persons.
i.e:
if 7 cars = £40 split,
if 8 cars =£35 split

You've set the bar now Chris, i'm having to play catch up!! Out with the old...in with the new!
Your results just confirmed what David at API originally told me, that the turbo seems to be getting a bit tired, as its taking longer than it should to spool up and the torque figures are way down. You'll have the last laugh with that engine your building. This will be the last for me, plenty powerful enough for my everyday work horse.

hi its a 1995 sti i bought the chip of flea bay had my mate whos a auto electrician to solder it to my ecu board i hope this helps

If that's the case then I don't think Andy can remap your ECU. Only ECU's on cars MY99 onwards can be remappped.

If you want a remap you will have to do what I did and buy a SimTek ECU or buy an Apexi Power FC and then have that mapped...
