you dont have to have special pans, just magnetic ones!

Induction cooking is far better than ceramic and is as quick as gas at heating up. Plus it's miles safer! It will take over from gas within the next 5 years

Got some Stellar ones, in the end, she seems happy with them, only thing is i've now ended up buying new cutlery, plates and cups and mugs to go with them.

Chasseur Cookware. Like Le Creusset, but cheaper. Had ours for years, the only problem was when the missus left a pan on the gas with nothing in for about 10 minutes. When she realised what she'd done she grabbed it and shoved it under the cold tap. Red hot enamel everywhere and 1 *****ed pan
