A double dose of NF sounds expensive, there always time if I'm saving a few quid Plus it is a special occasion when i get to drive the car

 

sorry im new to this game,,,,,, whats NF and why are you fitting this to the car, what benifit does it have

id like a higer ron/safer fuel option for when i go the ring in may

thanks for the experiments and write up, going to be some interesting cctv footage from the shell stations around the country now. LOL

 

i noticed the same thing around 2/3 years ago when doing a meth/NF mix, add just a little petrol to your mix and its fine, no chance of it doing that when mixed with 30/40 ltrs of petrol

i remember the faded bottles of NF around 2 years ago, they contained vitane instead of viscon and were no where near as good as the original viscon based NF.

i got my vitane booster from AS performance but after a small amount they went back to selling the viscon based stuff and have done ever since, i have never seen the vitane stuff since!

 

Just a little update on this subject.

I was into the petrol tank on Friday night for one reason or another and to follow up the question of there being the gluey scum in the tank, well, I think I was more shocked than anybody would have been, nothing, nothing at all. Not the slightest sign that there might even have been a nats bollocks worth in there.

Hi guys, just been reading this old but great thread of mixing Methanol, Fuel, NF and then more fuel to aid the smooth running for the engine.

As I'm gonna be using my car for 90% track days, this fuel solution will help beyond belief, though I do have acouple of questions.

1. Are you on about using NF Race forumla ?

2. Some Site's says to use 1ml to 1litre of fuel, is that to much ?

3. What and where would I get the Methanol from and any recommendations ?

A. Yes mate, I am.

A. I used 100ml per 50ltr mix (45ltr V-Power 5ltr Meth)

Q. What and where would I get the Methanol from and any recommendations ?

A. I used to buy it from Trinity Research but they have now started adding a dye which reduces the purity so Jenny Chem is the place to go.

the same happens when you mix NF and E85, you get a small amount of glue like substance form, I hadnt noticed this untill a mate wanted to see how it mixed and I had a bit of a fright...lol
