Hello Darcy, Sorry you are having problems with our item. As stated in the listing anddescription these are OE spec subaru items so require the fog lights to beremoved to allow the brackets to be installed correctly. Some people domodify the brackets slighty to allow the bracket to be installed as thecovers will fit over the lamps but that is up to yourself.
