I dont mind eating words like those!! Woke up to complete white covering and blizzard. One very happy 6 year old and two totally mad 19 year olds = several hours of manic snowball fights. Sun came out at lunch time and its all gone now. What a fantastic day!!

They held a horse riding type fete in the field next to us in aid of cancer research and it was freezing. It was sunny at first but then we had an enormous snow shower and stormy winds which dammpened things down a bit. They had a spit roasted lamb though and that was as good as I have ever tasted! The fire was handy too.
