If they have done what it seems they have done then they should be jailed and upon their release made to pay back as much of the $5m as possibly by taking 50% of their after tax/NI wages for LIFE or until the $5m+interest is paid or they die, whichever is the sooner. Furthermore, they should be banned from any council housing, assistance or benefits. In other words if they choose not to get a job to start paying back this country then they end up homeless, starve and....with a a bit of luck....die!

Only thing to do there is add bromide to the water supply and sterilise the lot of them starting with the poor girls idiot parents

Who exactly are you on about sterilising other than her parents? Just because this is a council estate, doesn't mean that everyone living there is the same as this family and their pals. As it appeared, there were alot of people trying to help find her, that probably now feel their fingers have been burned, by how this all seems to be panning out.

A little harsh to generalise I know, but the footage I saw on the BBC of the people on that estate made them look like a bunch of inbred work-shy lunts
who were doing anything but trying to improve themselves.

Nothing against council estates. There are decent people on every estate working their hardest to get out!

who were doing anything but trying to improve themselves. I agree with you, but I think it's more the family and friends behaviour, rather than the whole estate, that is questionable at best.
TBH, what you said was not to far off the mark, I do however have a problem with some previous comments moreso.

She looks like a normal kid. Besides that's a school photo and surely no one can look back at their school photos with pride. Mine got me the nickname 'baked-bean head' for example. Older brothers can be exceptionally cruel!

Apart from the fact that you were only able to do the copycat bit of BigJay, you and he should be ashamed to post something like that.
She is a young child for goodness sake, only 9 years old and she has obviously had a pretty poor if any family life so far. Not only that, she just looks like a normal young schoolgirl and that photo certainly does not deserve an insulting comment like that.
One day, should you achieve some kind of maturity, you might just begin to understand that.

I think it's awful, now that everything is coming out in to the open in the media think of what she could have been going through in that house, one thing in particular stands out, why doesn't she want to go home? She's a child at an age where she has to do as her parents say and be around whatever may go on until she is old enough to get up and walk out the door to start her own life, hopefully now that will be done with someone who does give a damn about her and not using her for money and one of the biggest searches ever to take place.
