We had this problem at the Police, simple, get a new packet of whatever it is, Flora being pinched for toast in the morning in our case and open it, with cameraphones take photos of you defiling it in some way, we showed the owner licking the surface of the Flora, the other suggestions were worse and he wouldnt have fancied it himself afterwards so were discounted, leave it a week and watch it go down then print the licking photos and stick them near the fridge !

Nah, same stuff, post 28 goes to same as you posted, 30 goes to the category.
Because you had a , I'll have a
I like the photo idea.
What about getting some offal from the butchers (maybe a couple of eyes or some brains) and putting them in a non transparent tupperware box...
Or maybe get some maggots from the bait shop and let them hatch in the box...? The stuf of nightmares

Yeah, stick a post it on it saying "please don't open or take anything from this lunchbox", sticky fingers couldn't resist that and then look for the one with nightmares and psychological problems....

This used to happen where I work.. we were pretty sure it was the contract cleaners who came in well after everyone had left the office..
things like cans of coke, and chocolate were nabbed .....until we took the tame option of smearing the coke tin lip with fairy washing up liquid, and leaving it in the fridge.. it was the last thing stolen from there
but then they moved on to rooting through peoples desk drawers and stealing peoples trainers, and stupid things like plastic aliens off someones PC

At one of my old pubs, only a my full time members of staff had lockers. The part-time staff had to get them on a first come first serve basis.
We suddenly had an instance of cigarettes going missing from people's handbags.
I, along with a trusted member of staff (whp is now a Police officer) monitored the situation for a couple of weeks. After repeat occurences over the period, I asked my accomplice in detection to help me put a stop to things.
Over a few days, my colleague would leave half-smoked cigs in the ash tray and when we came back, they would be gone or smoked.
In the end, we resorted to taking one cig and rubbing the filter in something brown and smelly that had left someone's body. The cig was then put in the ash tray.
Lo and behold, it was smoked. Once it had been smoked, the full story of the planted, poo-covered filter, was disemminated amongst the staff. Funnily it never happened again.
