Hi guys

Time for some more updates. Well my tein s tech lowering springs arrived yesterday so seeing as the weather was good today i thought it'd be rather rude not to fit them. Thankfully my mate Stuart was on hand to help me do the shocks (he actually did most of the work) Well what a pain in the **** they were to fit, we started at 11 am and finsihed up at about 6 pm, although we really could've finshed by 3 pm if it wasn't for some bad luck. We had just refitted the last shock which was the drivers rear and the **** hit the fan, i sometimes dont realise my own strength and in the excitement to finish i snapped one of the top mount bolts * DOH!* lol. So we had to take it all off and and drill out the snapped bolt and fit a new one. Anyway, i'm well happy with the end result and i'm looking forward to see what the stance is like in a few weeks time when they've settled down

The Dreaded last coil

The end result

I also managed to get the calipers painted up, although, they will need 1 more coat in a weeks time and i'll do the white lettering too. but i think they look pretty good against the white.

Painted calipers

One other addition to the car is that i've finally got round to putting my private plate on the car ** PAU

The Plate

Well guys, what do you think???

Thanx

Seeing yours has done it for me. I will shortly get round to ordering some Tein S springs when ive got a few quid!

Car seems to have a better stance judging by the pics! Make sure you post a few pics up in the next week or so, as I as well as other im sure would be interested to see if the springs settle in and drop a bit more.

Will do mate. Gotta say they are a fantastic piece of kit, ride is lovely, not to harsh and the stance looks spot on

Here's the car when i first picked it up.

Then over the last month i have done the following

STI Rear lights
Facelift Grill
Crystal side lights
STI 6 rear spoiler
New tinted windows to rear windows at 35%

Before STI'S with new spoiler

After STI'S with new spoiler

Also i sold my gold wheels today and have got these black newage alloys to run around on till my new 18" Inovit ST6 alloys come.

Currently in the bodyshop is my new Version 6 front bumper and a set of door handles getting colour coded. So far i'm pleased with how the scooby is coming along

What do you guys think?
Are the gold alloys 17" or 18"??
