Picked it up tonight guys. I was like a kid on christmas morning.
The guys built my bike for me today and i collected it at 4:30. I cant praise Les and the guys at Les's cycles in canvey enough. They spent alot of time getting everything right, sorted me some gloves and a skid lid too.
I shoehorned the bike in the little fezza and went straight home. No sooner was in but straight out and round at Tinys house.
(Thanks for the cuppa Courts x )
The big boy seemed to like my new wheels and sent me on a small ride around the local area and back home again. My total for the first ride was 7miles. Not bad for having not ridden since i was about 16.
The sun was still out so i treated it to some Poorboys carauaba blue and a few coats of Collinite 915 too
I'll get some pics up in a mo
PS. Massive thanks to Fozzie for pointing me in the right direction for my bike, what to do and not to do. Was nice to be the helpee for once

Been out bike shopping again today... this time for the lady.
No messing about, went straight back to Les and asked what he had in the "Student" price bracket After lots of umming and ahhing Michaela decided on a neat little number from Dawes.
Its called a Dawes Paris and is all aluminium, reasonable spec for the Doris and is in a really cool metalic baby blue colour.
I treated her to a flash lid too thats got some cool "roxy style" pink flowers on it. We came straight home and went out for a ride together.
Was really nice to do something different together. We went all along the sea wall to another village, stopped for a drink and came home again. 8 miles on her first outing was great.
Looking forward to getting out with everyone..
