When I bought it new I paid slightly less than £18,000 and the p/ex was £4,500 which I thought was reasonable. £2k pa. depreciation on a Scoob. If I'd chopped it earlier then the cost pa. would have been more, so it pays to keep them.

TBH I think the bottom will fall out of the Scoob market (and I say that with regret) - too expensive to buy - too poor fuel economy - too expensive to tax, and I suspect the residuals will be poor. I'm the target market for the new STi, but it doesn't float my boat.

I thought £4,500 was a good offer and I didn't have to suffer lots of test pilots/worry of somebody knowing where there was a Scoob that could be nicked.
