The only queues I saw today were caused by ***** who don't realise the hose part of the pump apparatus is long enough to allow the delivery of fuel to either side of the car.
They're the same ones that give you death stares when you get to a pump first because you're willing to use the above feature.

Did you know that the petrol pump symbol in your car shows the side of the car the flap is on?

Well the panic buying has started here
I had 10 miles of fuel left, had forgotten about the possible panic buying nuts. First station I pass is the robbers, wasn't mega busy but at at £1.20 a litre I thought I'd motor on to Tesco, it was heaving, thought sod it I'll motor on to the next one which is quite rural, queues weren't too bad I only had a 15 min wait to fill up by which time the display was showing 0 miles left Thank **** I didn't try to make it to the next one along the road.
There were folk there filling up gallon containers as well as their cars If there is going to be a shortage It'll be due to those greedy panic buying nutters

There is more petrol and diesel capacity in the petrol tanks of the nations cars then exists in all the UK's filling stations put together, FACT.
Therefore at any time, irrespective of strikes, refinery closures etc, if everyone panicked and went to fill up their car, jerry cans etc then it would precipitate a fuel shortage !!!
Just chill out everyone.

saw some old codger filling up a million jerry cans, at asda, i only called in to put £5 worth of 95 ron in to get me to the shell garage down the road
i was running on fumes, asda was completely dead
shell garage was also dead
must be a shandy drinker thing, we seam unaffected up this way (newcastle)
anyway a full tank will last me 2 weeks easy enough, would assume normal service will resume by then, bunch of petrol hoarding mugs
