Okay guys, ive spoken with one of the organisers today.

He has to take it back to the commitee as to how much "stand" we are allowed etc.

I would really like this to be a good showing of top quality imprezas and i think we can make a good impression on the RS boys. As they have said, sometimes its easy to become a little "Ford'ed out" at shows so it will be nice for them to also see something different in the way of our imprezas.

They have taken my details and will contact me in due course to finailise what we are allowed.

I attended a RS owners club meet at Santa Pod on Sunday and i'd have to say they do throw a good doo!

There was a few nice cars there.......

My fave of the day.

I also have a soft spot for these also.

And these.

hopefully should be ok to get to this, love some of the fords....remeber when i was a wee nipper an uncle bought a green escort MkII mexico or rs2000 and he scared the living sh!t3 out of me!!! Lol

If I am not working I might be up for this? Not sure if my car is of show standards though? As a daily driver its looking a bit tired now

Not about show standards mate, there isnt one car in the ESC that is "real" show standards.

Its about being there and enjoying your day

Sounds good would love to attend if theres space put my name down had a few ford rs's myself they will allways have place in my heart, i swapped my escort cosworth a few months ago for the subaru i have now.

No, but looks like they deleted the thread

Basic gist of the thread was their regional chairman spat his dummy out and cancelled it, members calling for him to quit etc

Sad to see the event cancelled and sad to see turmoil in a car club..... If only Carlsberg made car clubs
