I cant believe you still have this,

A 400hp ST205 is quite a beast and given different circumstances (Like no wife and children) I'd have it off you.

Just goes to show how sh*t the second hand car market is.

I will console myself with the fact its the cheapest 400bhp car money can buy, and still love driving it.

The right buyer will come along in time. It needs to be someone who wants a modded ST205 running big power and that realises the slight extra I am asking for the mods represents a huge saving in the long run. I am asking about 1K more over a stock St205. But the mods cost as easy 10K+ if brought new.

And lets not forget this is a rare non import, UK example, with aircon and sunroof. Which is cheaper on insurance as well. Its not often you can buy a jap car with a lever arch file full of receipts detailing all servicing and modifications going back to day dot.

The front lip is being painted this weekend so will freshen the front up no end.

I now have an intermitent overheat problem. The car sometimes and I mean only sometimes rises in temp very quickly you can physically see the temp gauge rise, then almost as soon as it rises you can see it drop again. Then a little while longer it might do it again, and some time the temp gets that hot I might be inclined to pull over and let cool down.

Within my normal daily drive to work, it never plays up. So thinking its possibly and air lock or at worse a water pump, because it would appear to be linked to movement of water.

But basically its one of the those problems you could end up chasing you tail on, and have lost interest in the car and can't be arsed spending time and moneny chasing it.

The problem might be something, it might be nothing, but really can't see if being much. But it might take some time to track it down. So if anyone fancies a project then I am currently offering it out as a going concern.

All reasonable offers will be considered now. I dont expect to get my asking price, but I know what my car is worth in bits. But don't want the headqaue of breaking the car either. So put a realistic offer in and you never know.
