Got 9 miles from Silverstone and the rad split on the Pug. Had to be towed 40 miles home by the AA.
Still could have been worse, could have gone on the M1.
Hope you guys had a good day

Gawd Cookie .......... You and cars eh?........
It was RUDDY HOT....... got burnt (more than a bit)..... the "younger" generation who were walking around with no T Shirts on are really gonna pay for it tommorow!
Lots of good action on the track, lots of stuff to see, all in all a very nice day out indeed!
Will put the piccys up tommorrow on a new thread once I sorted them out.

I know, time to give up soon and take the cheaper alternative and get cabs everywhere, can have a drink then too
What were they like with taking pictures there as on the ticket it said it wasn't allowed and would confiscate all film if they caught you. I wasn'y sure how strict they would be with that.

Great day out and am I glad I put the swiss cheese factor 50 cream on
Kids enjoyed it as always and Ellen wants more trackside events lol, she really enjoyed the noise and the fact we got up close with some of the cars. The 45 car race was a hoot. All in all a great day out.
Sorry to hear about your Pug Cookie thanks for the text. Hope its all sorted for ya.
I was absolutely shattered and have only just woke up
