yesturday i saw both the new evo and the new sti, i think on looks i would have the impreza, although it does look a bit like a focus, but the evo looks like a mazda 6,and it just doesnt do it for me atall. the impreza though i think does look quite sporty even though those rear lights and exhausts do make it look like a nova crossed with halfords, but generally still i think the drastically changed body style is a good thing, it appears to have better specs than most hot hatches, and in a few years when there cheaper, i think people will be putting more money into them and giving them the same power specs as imprezas that are about now. my only concern is that when the focus RS comes out everyone would rather that .

Assuming the Focus RS is 4WD - if it's FWD then I don't see many *potential* STi owners buying it.

And the Focus is still a Ford, a negative for some?

Maybe so - it's never been a problem for me as I've grown up with fords all my life.

A 4WD, 300bhp Focus might tempt me!
