Evo X versus RB320

Had a blast against a Evo X SST in my STi Version 6(classic) which made 305bhp on a Rolling Road(full de cat and air filter) so near enough the same sort of power as the Evo X SST, anyway side by side I pulled at least 3 car lengths in front, Even when I had to play catch up in a straight line after we come off a roundabout, everytime I would catch the Evo and pass it, For out and out speed in a staright line I was very dissopointed in the Evo X.
Anyway once we headed towards roundabouts the Evo X would take them with ease and with out any fuss it would go round them like it was on rails, This is where my STi was struggling, even with (Coilovers,Drop links, anti lift kit, anti roll bars) my car could not catch it on the bends, and even if I pushed it, my scoob would be stepping out at the rear.
Now Ive owned a few Evo's and some with some very nice suspension mods, but this Evo X in standard form handled like Ive never seen a scoob/evo handle before, for a standard car it handled very well.
I had a quick chat with the owner and he said that he was dissopointed with the performance of his Evo X SST especially when he had paid 32k for it and my STi cost me 4k, but he was hoping to have some mods done to it, maybe I'll come up against him again when he has a bit more power and see what its like against a near standard classic Sti
Would I have a Evo X???? probably not, I dont like most new cars, there to heavy and have same sort of power as the cars they have replaced from 10-12 years ago!!! Scoobys included!!!!!

I've spoken to a tuner up our way and with the minimum mods on the X you are looking at close on 400bhp and 380ft/lbs. It also is in a different league when it comes to build quality compared to the scoob.

The evo x was a fq300(300bhp) and weighs nearly 1600kg where as my classic is around 1200kg and has 305bhp!!!! power to weight?????
Trust me Ive owned plenty of Evo's so I know what im on about, and no one has a blast against another car and think im not going to try my best thats just stupid, just cause a car has x amount of bhp doesnt mean it makes it quicker then a car with less bhp. and where not playing top trumps cards here!!!!
