Although this is still on, and I'll be doing the overnight thingy, I'll be leaving you lot to explore the Lakes on your own, as I have to be back by about midday on Sunday (Via Hardknott and Wrynose, of course )

Me and Andy still have a booking to take up with them thats all paid for
Although I think Stickys right - good old british spirit will provale (the kids are revved up for the beach anyhow)
Although the camp fire may not go swiftly in the cold and wet
We can but try

Right. Reality check.
It's one thing having a stiff upper lip, but that's not gonna be any good to you if it's been blown down the beach by a force 18 gust combined with a burst of horizontal rain.
This has always been weather dependent, and with it looking so bad I think we need to make a decision.
As I see it we can...
1) Persevere like idiots, risk getting soaked to the bone and end up miserable and p'd off
2) Book the bunkhouse at the place Scott suggested (I'm assuming there's a pub/restaurant nearby?) and all pile there
3) Postpone it for a week or 2, depending on what's in the calendar for the near future
Thoughts?
