They do say that all shocks are past there best at 20k, perhaps others are just not as high spec'd and carry on.

Well, I would have thought my 20 stone bouncing on the shocks would have taken it's toll ..... even without the backseat action business

Had my rears changed under warranty at 16K - holding out so far at 31K...

Was about to take dealer technician for a road test but before going out, I pushed down on rear tailgate and got a clunk from suspension - road test not required and they got on the phone to order a replacement set.

Still get metallic knock through steering column - worst if going over raised grates / potholes. Mentioned it to dealer but nothing ever sorted for it.

most weight is on front and normally less movement. so although Fronts may be FUBAR'd noise is nowhere near as regular or so noticable as the rears. IMHO.

Not that anyone would want you to accept it as there all OK and warranty to run out
