No you cannot fit the front on the rears , the fitting kit and 290mm rear discs are to use with the MY01 onwards WRX rear 2 pot calipers.

that's a shame and I meant my front 4 pots of my MY01 WRX to go on rear as I am going bigger at front , so its not possible then.

What price could you do with some form of pads as well (front and rear)?
Including P&P?

Thanks a lot, Sam
Use the car for town and motorway. Dont need track / race pads.
Somelike like ebc redstuff equivilant maybe?

If you could sort me a price for front and rear discs and all pads with P&P today i would love you forever!

The front of the car does 60-70% of the braking , so the calipers pads and usually discs are larger , if you fit front type caliper on the rear you will overbrake the rear ,
On an Impreza , the centre of the rear discs is a drum for the handbrake shoes , the rear discs pad area is too small for the front pads , and the front discs wont fit on because of the handbrake shoes , it would be a lot of work invoving fabricating parts to make it all fit , and then you would have to fit in line adjusters in the brake lines to shut the power down to make the ballance right.
Hope this helps
Cheers Ian

I think it is something to do with the hand brake mechanism being inside the rear disc's centre so it has to be hard metal not ally.

These are Godspeed rear discs for my MY03 WRX. You can see the "drum brake" type area in the left hand one where the pads are. This is where the hand brake operates.
