Stolen Wrx Uk 300 Subaru =( Please Help!

Neither Tesco or Admiral asked me for proof of tracker, or whether it was activated.
Current insurance company did.
It was just a suggestion. If I had the opportunity to possibly salvage £10,000 through a loophole i'd opt for it. Obvious I don't have the fortunes to ignore £10,000 unlike others.

I would imagine if having a tracker fitted is a condition of your insurance, if the car was stolen they would insist on it being active, and you having paid the subs up to date for it - I bet in the small print somewhere that it states this.
I have a tracker on my car, and the insurance company insisted it was fitted - they didnt ask for proof it was active and paid up, but I didnt see this as a way of saving £100 a year or whatever the subs cost ! The insurance company say it needs to be there for me to be insured, so its there. I would much rather pay for it and know the car is covered if it does get stolen, even if it doesnt get recovered.

Sorry, i know you're all going to slag me off now, but, i have to ask the question, if the guy could afford, and had the time to arrange a personal number plate, why could'nt he arrange to have a tracker fitted, as stipulated by his insurance company?

Has Scoobynet become so cynical now, that all posts by a new poster get hammered and disected by a certain few.
Plewis, im glad your banned, some of your comments are just unwanted!
I hope this gets sorted out OP.
But when you have this amount of posters on a good web site you always get the Muppet element posting.
I hope your dad finds most of the posts here usefull and disgards the "Muppets" one's.
Any update on whats happening.

which reminds me, have to put my tracker back in the car...i kinda pulled out my tracker by mistake when fitting my Deffi's...
A tracker is just like a mobile phone with a big areal...take it where theres no reception...and signal's lost...

Thanks a lot to all the helpful posts. I've learnt to ignore the stupid ones now.
The whole point of this post was to make people aware of what is happening, ask people to look out for it (as i'm sure you would do if you're subaru got stolen and you got burgled whilst you slept) and to make people aware of the expensive lesson my Dad's learnt. Hence the fact my Mum's offered a reward if we did get any information leading to the car, or the car itself as well.
