Me too...ok, we'll stand side by side in line, ok?

Everyone wants the big kits for the bling wheels though, so I don't think any squabbling will be necessary for those of us with humble 16 inches rims

Finished fitting mine today, Had a problem with the bolt on the car for braided hoses (Nothing to do with the K sport kit) should of gone and bought the special spanner earlier!!! Even with this I had rounded it off to much so had to use molegrips. Got there in the end

I have Pff7 replicas on my car which had about 10mm clearance between the Brembo caliper and the back of the spokes. The K Sport set up has about 25mm clearance which is great news as I reakon I can get away with using WRX wheels (Cheaper to buy) for track use instead of the planned STI route.

Does anyone have these fitted behind standard WRX wheels?

Hi,

If anyone is still waiting but has rears with DS2500 pads then we are just waiting for the pads. We were sent the wrong pads and are waiting for them to come back into stock with us. Sorry.

Otherwise if you havent recieved them feel free to phone and get a status update / tracking information, we still have a couple of kits to send today that arent waiting for pads. We have been very busy with Staff holidays, staff sickness and 2 large container shipments in the last 7 days has been a fair strain for us.

304mm kit dimensions.

Calliper Dimensions
225mm x 133mm
Pad size
32 x 50/56mm

I would expect the caliper-spoke clearance to be just very slightly better than the 8 pots.

I would guess the radial clearance would be around 175mm for the 304's, taking measurements, not measuring them on a car.

The distance between the hub face and the outside edge of the 330mm KSport caliper is 32mm. Id take it that your disc is about 6mm thick in the centre where it meets the hub. If you measure from the ouside edge of your disc (where the wheel touches the disc) then youll need 26mm clearance from that point to the inside edge of the wheel. Obviously the caliper sits out from the centre of the hub so you need to take the measurement around 180mm out from the hub centre, radially speaking.

Radial measurement

Distance needed between outside face of discs where it meets wheel and outside face of caliper

Is that clearer?

I've just phoned up to be told there is no record of my order and all the kits have gone, even though I was added to the list after phoning up and leaving my details!

I've been told to phone Bren on Monday as he's on holiday and also to return a PM he sent me but I keep getting this message
  1. bren@apex has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.
Anyone got any idea why I should be getting this? Can anyone else still pm him or does it just mean his inbox is full?

Fingers crossed it will all be sorted on Monday

Anyone got theirs on yet? Pics? Verdict?

Fitted mine on thursday. A very good and simple process . I've got a set of
5zigen pro racer gn+ 17x7.5 with a 48 offset bags of room between caliper and the pins!! and what a difference they made braking. Still bedding in but can feel you have much more confidence when braking. Top kit

Really? that's good then cause I went for the 330mm's! was hoping they'd still fill the wheel
I was away on holiday last week so TNT tried to deliver twice but then took them back to Apex...doh!
Spoke to Kev on Friday and all sorted and they should be with me this week hopefully!
