I can't speak for how it will feel for the bottom of your back, but mine on my shoulder, I would put at about a 2-3, not the nicest feeling, but not overly painful. Take into account, I'm a wimp, but I've also had some unpleasant stuff done to me (no jokes), and it came nowhere near them.

Nice one Jimmy Get a pic up when its done.
Hope your not having solid black though, so nice shading will look cool
LG, lower back is tender but not terrible
Mine is about 9-10 inches across. There were some interesting moments having it done, especially in the middle. But I would not call it pain so to speak

I'm having a bit of a tattoo dilemma, I had a small red rose almost exactly the same as Lee's done on my upper left arm when I was 18. Now some 26 years later it's very, very faded and the outline is sort of smugdy, it looks a mess. Now this has never really bothered me in the past but as I've always hated my upper arms and kept them covered but now that I've lost weight I don't feel so paranoid about them and would like to wear sleeveless tops.
However TBH my tattoo looks pretty crap now, so my dilemma is do I have it redone or a new one over the top? What looks nice on a woman? I like the tribal stuff a lot but I'm not sure it would suit me
The other option is to have it lazered but I've not looked into that and I imagine it's very expensive.

Kat Von dee (spel) say no more, a chick with tattoos who looks sexy as hell
I think the Japanese style with either dragons or Koi look really nice.
Will do mate, yeah hoping for some black and grey combo to bring it out, I agree, I don't want it all a solid colour.

If you are happy with having a tattoo, which I am, I would go over the top of it. Have a word with the tattooist for suggestions

Yup any tattoo can look good on a woman, to the right people of course. Saw a woman on the train this morning (OMG I just realised I got on a train !) with a full sleeve in progress. For her image, and dress, it looked really good.
If the line work is all smudged you would probably need a cover up rather than a re-do, as the lines will be too thick to go over without it looking badly done.
A good artist will be able to make some suggestions.
I do however have a love of Japanese too lol

Hola
Hmmm depends if you want to be brave and make a statement, or just daring and have a little ink.
Feet are favoured place of the mo, but rather tender.
Otherwise its all the old favorites I guess, bum, lower back, shoulder and tummy.

As for angry looking, I have some WIP pics of the last sitting, with blood oozing out of the fresh bits, ink all over the place, and lots of welting lol.

lol ok I will go easy on the gore, just some ones with lil bits of blood then....
As for the pores opening up, I dont get it too much, except for where the welting occurs. So im guessing its the skin stretching, and opening the pores by force so to speak.
Or its the body trying to puke the ink up lol
