never had a problem (apart from years ago before they modified them) with a genuine Samco, but have had various problems with the cheap style ones.............................

It's genuine Samco fitted. It doesn't seem that the inlet is collaspsing in the middle (where I have seen people using the jubilee clip technique), its more to do with the routing of the Samco to the turbo. The Samco is pretty much crushed against the inlet manifold as it bends around the manifold to reach the turbo.
The turbo is still sat marginally off centre, I'm hoping that the Lateral header pipes bring the turbo central & the Samco inlet will then line up perfectly. & if that doesn't work I will be

Although mine is ofset, the hybrid samco only just touches the manifold and pushes against it to a depth of possibly 2-3mm max - nothing that would change flow that's for sure. I have HKS headers and Scoobysport up pipe, doesn't seem to be a problem. I've done the mod to the samco by putting coil wire inside (it wont move within it so should be fine) and hose is now solid over most of its length.
