cat d is an insurance class, it could have been stolen / recovered accident damage etc, but it is safe and legal for the roads

Thanks for that, Jay. Given the current thread about the short life-span of Subaru shocks I figured he would get through a set every year if he's doing 25000 miles a year. I got rid of my STI long before that so wouldn't know. My discs were apparently on the way out after 8000 miles and everyone knows I drive like a granny so maybe I'm biased.
