but it's usually old women who feel the need to re-arrange year's worth of receipts in their purse. Same women who get to the supermarket tills, then start rumaging around for their purse, as if they didn't expect to have to pay...

I hate queues as much as the next person, but I've still got enough respect for others not to take that tone, regardless of how much someone might **** me off.

I hope when I'm in a foreign country, the natives have a little more patience with me if I was to struggle with their language, and heaven forbid, hold them up for a short time.
