This is a free country you know ..........

I supose you are right, as long as the chav, thick, uneducated population of the UK continues to grow, so will its beloved sport

Geezer
Wasn't infering you don't have the right just a general comment to the casual watches of footy ,it's been like this for some time now.

As for your chav comment (although tongue firmly in cheek methinks) a pretty stupid one as it's a working class game and chavs don't work normally.

Hard to compare as there aren't championships every year for the national footy team but only 1 World Cup a piece (ok rugby one has only had 6).

It is hard for a direct comparison, however the rugby union side have made the finals of 3 of them and won one of them. On the European scale, not being massive fan i'm pretty certain the closest we have got to a European footy final is the semi finals.

Getting to a final and not winning doesn't make them successful imo there is no cup for second place i thnk (admittedly an experience the current football side wish they had ).

I thoroughly enjoy the 6 nations (especially not being English )

Hey even the All blacks would like to be in the same position as us, and they are supposed to be rugby playing gods. , and considering that Ireland Wales and |France were touted as possible finalists last year, whilst we were the worst world cup holders on record, i'll take that as success.

Well thats the bonus for the rest of the nations in the 6 nations, they get to support their own team and anyone that beats England.

the footballers these days are tossers, thinking they are this and that. a bad example to kids IMHO, just look at john 'cry baby' terry the other night, he spat at tevez knowing he would be caught on camera!!!. all football is these days is money, money, money, all for kicking a piece of leather ( and no im not jelouse, had offers for trials but rather go drinking and **** girls with my mates )
