Wearing my ROLEX

It's a homage to a vintage Rolex from the 50's and other than bloating a bit hasn't changed much.
One of those pieces that only appeals to people with a sense of history and style I guess.
Each to their own as ever..........
Price was a bargain BTW as Rolex AD's can't charge a premium. 2 yr waiting list for the normal watch means I made an instant 800 quid profit on purchase..........

Patek-philippe make some nice pieces, I particularly like the Nautilus.
As for gold rolexes who mentioned them? Not only are they gauche they shed value quicker than a new WRX.

Do any of you guys know of a good UK-based watch forum?
timezone.com seems OK - lots of good articles - but the forums themselves are very US-centric and most of the threads boil down to 'hey, look at my new watch' followed by a chorus of 'wow, great, cool'.

I've got 2 Rolex's (yacht-master bi, gmt2 steel) and I must say the Rolex featured on this thread is horrid. Looks like something you'd find in a bargain box in Camden market. Agree with the timekeeping comment though, cheap digital is way more accurate than my watches, that said I'd never go back to a cheap watch

And to liven the thread, the very song you mentioned

This was provided as i feel the original one was lacking a bit certain class
