not long now.. just been dodging the rain trying to get the scooby clean. Nealy finished just waiting for a another break in the rain. 5 times now I've put the car back in the garage.

 

bullitt is cracking on with the engine bay, then let the cleaning begin....

took my rings off and anything that could bang or scratch it,

Cant wait to get started, only problem is i dont have a garage therefore if it rains it gets wet

 

my cars dirty im not coming

Yes the old wagon pulled it off again....

Just wanna say big thanks to all involved today,specially Semo for towing caravan and nice to speak to few of the new ones, think we've got another new member about to join up as well ,guy with a RB5...

So yes top day from the word go,from having a dabble on the way there with the Aston.. , to havin a laugh puttin the gazebo up,to the lads banter whilst watchin the car gettin washed (hope no one heard us )And what about Andy's car on way home (Chieftain) fookin hell mate it shook the airport tunnel...

And did you see the pair of **** in the ferrari.. , thing is the likes of Swifty and Wayne's Scooby, would of probally had him give the chance (pair of fast cars them too, look like they've just been released from a catapult when they come up behind you )

Also runner up in Best club stand and we didn't really go with intention of winning, another trophy (will have to build a display cabinet for caravan )

So like i said in all a top day , roll on Thorseby ....

 

well what a great 2 days,,, well to the hard lads that camped we must be mad .
it was that cold in our tent mi kn*b was only down to mi knees.
but still top night,then on to the show ground what with the lost tent leg,then the chinese puzzle tent,,what a laugh must say to all that got there what a top set of people u all are.this WYIOC thingy just seems to be geting better and better every time we go out.So well done to us and all i can say is roll on the rest of the year,, god we are good .

 

what a top day out, thanks to the organisers and to all that turned up to make a cracking day. congratulations to Scot & Sara best standard classic and Andy for winning the ice trophy. thanks to mark for pulling the caravan.

 

Absolutely briliant chaps,

Started off with a nice steady convoy, how we managed to miss 2 junctions i do not know

Then we had lord harding with his scooby tie and knickers - lovely man i must say after getting a chance to chat to him today.

To the Runaway caravan - Thanks to Mark for pulling it

Setting up the cars, back a bit, forward a bit, straighten up a bit, over a bit

Everyone pitching in to set the stand up, we worked as a team and it got done faster than ever,

Food timings worked really well again, everyone fed and watered and then the organisers can enjoy the show too...

Show n Shine - winner was .... oh that will be the wagoness then
really chuffed with that, having got runner up last year and 1st the year before I didnt think we stood a chance but then the judge remembered the car and said it looked better than ever.... (thanks rich for doing engine bay).

Well done to Chieftain on the ice win, nearly shed a tear when i saw you pull up into the winners arena, excellent mate and well deserved

Best Stand - well didnt pull this one off however we had decided that we wasnt going in for the big win due to the checklist involved however we did say we would put on a wyioc show and that we did, the stand looked great and kept tidy all day , everyone looked after, potential new members interested which is always good....

Had some really good feedback from the judges which i will relay back to you at the next month meet

Then there was the raffle, so so funny, Lyndsey jumps in air saying shes won, she fights her way to the front to be told over microphone right number wrong colour! omg so funny....

Mark - for bringing caravan all the way to NBO and back
men - for doing man things, moving caravan, setting up gazebo etc
Debs & Lynds - cooking and keeping order around the caravan
Stevey & Wayne - newest recruits to poppy events - guys its a 3 month probation then you get paid, but we might have a issue if after 3 months you still cant tie balloons
Bullitt - for doing spec sheets
The kids - for being good little angels as always
The weather for holding out for best classic

was a cracking day only just woke up from getting back.
But what a day a proper nice ride over roads should be as empty as that all the time!

setting up the stand was interesting we should have got an award for biggest stand ever at nbo and watching the ballons been put together all i can say is thats some vudoo sh*t there and after all that hard work for poppy events she's a hard task master i was glad for me egg and bacon sarny thanks debs

glad scott and sarah won best classic and andy for the best ice don't think any other stand had 2 winning cars!

then for an eventful ride home the **** in the ferrari (probs daddies car) he was revving car behind me and wayne so i revved mine next thing he shoots past when we're in a traffic que must not of liked it and andy's car in the tunnel f*ck me thought tunnel was going to come down!
then following scott and sarah thinking where the **** we off here

so top day from start to finish with great company you can't beat it!

yes, i'm still rather embarrassed over the colour-dyslexia, but hey, you all had a laugh at my expense!!! and debs won a thingy really....was so embarrassed i darent go to collect it for her!!! thanks john for going for me!!!

super organisation again pulled this off and we all had a brilliant day out in the sun, and our perfect planning meant we ate dinner whilst it was raining

think we're due meeting to sort out next year though, apparently we weren't far off the top 5!!!

 

Went to bed at half 9 friggin knacked!!
Ta for a great day,think that was the best day out for me with you lot so far this year
Really enjoyed driving there and back was a good laugh......and that prat with the ferrari,bet it was knicked or they were both drunk wish wayne or swifty would of embarress them in their motors!
Congrats to sarah and scott for coming first,very well deserved you would be MAD to sell that car.
Really chuffed that I won the ICE comp,my 2 quid trophy takes pride of place on the windowsill.
