Yup James...but like a bad soap opera (i.e. most of them), strangely compelling too......if you like to study human psychology, and how people act, as I do, particularly through the medium of the internet, it is rather *interesting*....if that's the right word

Just what makes people weave such a tangled web, when just being your true self would be so much less hassle.....

Diablo,

Thanks for clearing that up. I was never sure.....

At least I remembered!

And at least we're all still here.

Oh, and Happy New year.

Cool

I'm still about, but only tend to post on the threads that interest me or provide a good source of banter. These are very few and far between though, due to the influx of a strange hippy like culture.... Bearded blokes with open-toed foot-ware springs to mind...

I'm still around but don't post as often as before as most subjects appearing lately don't interest me at all

Yex - must be getting older and more mature

Who was it who in a fit of (alcohol-fuelled IIRC) rage deleted all of his posts on this BBS? I think it was MTR. What a laugh we used to have in those days (was much easier when you could do 'search by username'.

Oh to look back and wish things were how they were a while ago.

Wish all you want because it isn't going to happen.

The good old days? How about looking forward to the future and things to come? The world changes, people come and people go, topics chop and change like there is no tomorrow, different interests taking the hots seat (or post ) time and time again.

Only you can influence your future and what it will bring, just as the board members of Scoobynet influence the posts.

Time waits for no one and the times are changing faster than ever, you have to adapt quicky to life's twists and turns.

Make way for the new BBS and the future, just make sure you decide, you get involved and you help to make this great Scooby community bigger and better than ever before.

clap clap clap - applause and please take a bow - miss puppeteer has put her two pence worth in...

could we have expected anything else but this condesending patronising sanctimonious sh*te

- your problem lady is you need to be the centre of attention and you just bear it when other people have a point of view - do us all a favour and zoom off back to that purple cloud you seem to be on

Having no real knowlege of what's going on in this post anyway i thought i'd share something that i've learned in my time surfing various BBS's.

"Arguing on the internet is like competing in the special olympics, even if you win, you're still a retarded."

(Note: not meant to offend handicapped people whatsoever, just to highlight the benality (spelling) of internet conflict).

FedUp I really do wish I can meet you so I can let you form your opinion about me from my real life personality rather than what you translate through my postings via the BBS. My posting at times do not come over to people how I wish them to and believe me, you picked up the wrong end of the stick there!!!!!
Whether you would like me or not is a different matter and is really no water off my back if you don't.

With regards to my post, I do remmber the board a year or two ago, despite my original username registering in March last year, I lurked for a while only reading the posts and not actually joining in.

Sometimes I wish I could turn back time, part of the reason for posting this was to remind me that I need to move forward than remain static looking backwards. At work the situation is more like Scoobynet, except it is a *real life* rather than *internet* situation and one I have to handle whether I like it or not. I wish I could go back to how things were at work a couple of years ago, but I have to move on with the flow of things and learn to adapt. I love accepting challenges and rather than seeing situations I dislike as a problem I try to turn them into an opportunity and gain knowledge, understanding and preparation for the future.

With regards to people expressing their own opinion, I have no problem at all, it seems that you have a problem with me posting up my opinion which in all honesty was never meant to be patronising or in anyway a negative one.

Regards,

Michelle.

I hope this is a joke!

Has she ever upset you personally!

Do you have to hide behind another username!

I am not sticking up for her. But it does seem a little bit like abuse micheele, which is not on. We are entitled to our views you dont have to agree!

I agree with Davyboy.

This constant harrasment of
Michelle is out of order. IF you have a problem with what she says or does then speak to her about it in person. This is clearly unacceptable behaviour towards a respected memeber(no matter her age or sex) of scoobynet.

If your only problem is that you find her postings offensive, then either A Don't read them, or B take them up in private.

What are you, some kind of jealous admirer?
