now stop trolling and being a saddo. three threads, and you may notice ive partaken in many more upbeat ones than that. no need for the constant razor blade/suicide references though is there.... thats not necessary
Oh FFs please stop going on about your sodding sunburn

it was a mild bit of redness, my kids get worse going out to play in the garden

if you want to see a wound, and have a larf to boot, do a search for my scalping thread.

btw no one is forcing you to sell the scoob, your making a tactical decision based on your circumstances.

in 6 months time, the'll be ten a penny, so you'll prolly get a better model when you rebuy

I'll poke my nose in here sorry in advance. I think you do have to look towards the positives in life, however difficult that may be, not necessarily to make you greatful, but to try and adapt your frame of mind to one more focused and positive, to help you get to the other side of this difficult time. I don't know all the ins and outs of your circumstances, but to get through any turmoil in life, you need to be pro active, as hard as that may be, to give in will potentially ruin all the good there still is. On the little I have grasped, I can't give you advice re work as I'm not qualifed to say what your position is, even you don't know where you stand right now, so I can't possibly know what to suggest. Maybe once that is clearer, you may be able to move on more, and look at other options (new job/some training or course, not sure but there may be subsidised or free ones worth looking into).

As for those who just want to spout off saying get a grip, or there's always someone worse off etc. I'm sure Andy is full well aware of that, but that doesn't make his situation any less valid. There is always someone worse off. Yes, he may not be in the worse of situations, but he in difficult times, and is reaching out for support, and I for one, despite not being able to wave a wand for him, will give him that and although it may not help, it doesn't help snubbing him either. I can understand being blunt to make a point, but come one guys, he is part of this community, and needs a little support right now.

I'm sorry to go on and not really be able to help, or even come up with something funny, but if nothing else, know I wish you well, and that things do in time work out. After all we can't all be in privilaged positions on thios board, where money doesn't worry us. (no offence intended, but I believe at times it can be difficult for some to understand these type of issues when not effected so much by them).

BTW have you thought of doing caricatures?

get members to send you piccys, then you can turn out a caricature.

we have a guy at work does them,

charges a reasonable amount, always has people wanting them done

this is something else i have to be real careful of. if someone from work finds out i do these commission pieces and make any money, its against the t's and c's (classed as extra unknown work activities or something). apparently its instant dismissal otherwise i would have tried to get more done and given this djing crack a go too...

Could you not do them as <cough>practice</cough> and then only put them on sale after you've got your pay out?

If anyone asks I didn't suggest this

And here you can see scoobyvirgin as he starts work on removing the Evo engine so he can transform the Cinq into a 2 litre turbo 4 wheel drive monster!
