I especially respect anyone that writes and performs their own stuff, Like Docherty etc.
What I absolutely cannot stand it talentless money making machines that spout cover after cover. Like Westlife for example. Absolute waste of ****ing space.

) She can't sing that well, can she? I like other female singers who are fitter than her too... But there you go.
Coldplay are outliving their usefulness, they used to be OK, now all their songs sound the same - Chris Moyles proved that with the "cheese windows" remix of Violet Hill.
Hate Pete Doherty, he need euthanising.
Amy Winehouse IS talented, shame she married a druggie and has friends like the aforementioned Doherty.

Oh yes, and I agree with Pete, (becoming a bit of a habit of mine 
) that Westlife are rubbish. They never sing live and there's only 2 of them that can "sing" (mime). They always release covers, so not an original bone between them, and they're always sloppy ballards. Yuck, making me mad thinking about them!

OK here's my vote, this band are not as useless as the likes of Doherty who is simply devoid of talent, but they are easily the most overrated band ever - The Beautiful South.
Their songs are delivered with a vocal so weak and wimpy you feel you want to put the singer out of his misery. The instrumentation is cheesy and simplistic at best and the songs have lyrics that sound like a songwriter trying to be far too clever for their own good and in fact sound like that 6th form band every school had that disbanded as soon as they all left school and sniffed the first air of adulthood and therefore realising how utterly crap their band was.
I enjoyed a nice toast to their demise when I heard they had split. May they now enjoy the obscurity they so richly deserve.

Music/bands died from the 80's.Singers/bands have virtually all become one hit wonders,loads of songs have been covers that the youth of today don't realise are covers.
Generally I think we are at the peak of carpness at the moment
Mcartny still makes me want to throw my radio out of the window though

Well, I dislike pretty much anything that will appear on the Brits each year, but I have to say, Coldplay are just the pits. Dreary, predictable, self obsessed, nonsense! That sandal wearing freak Chris Martin needs a good slap, and he called his kid Apple, the f*ckwit!

cascade.... what a drivvleish waste of silicone infected, fatty patty, blonde extension, cheesy pop dance crap. every single song sounds the same, i really can stand how this stupid talentless tart is making money from concerts, pop videos etc... and the producer behind it, well he wants skewering on a spit and his midi keyboard shoving up his....
also cant stand pretty much any rock/indie band. they all look like fcuked up druggies that need a bath

I like to think Cascade is a very clever tart who realises that puting female vocals to euro-trash-dance is a nice money earner as every thickheaded ned (refer to Fat-pie's Devvo) or ned-ess in the country who thinks cheesy pop-dance is wikkid hardcore.
