My office chair was free, my sister gave it to me. She bought it from MFI but they sent the wrong colour so sent another one in the right colour and didn't charge her. Despite constant reminders they never came to collect the first one so she gave it to me

lol show off. I could have added some options just to be fussy, but was going easy on them lol
Bet you dont have a £100 (well almost...) mouse though do ya.
Da One, if you should have it for health reasons, they should provide it, but like you say, a lot of companies say FOFF
Big, I have a nice leather recliner at home, but the new one is not too bad compared to the tatt we had at work. I think there is one in the background of that pic

the chairs are a standard office chair rolled out to everyone,
as part of our induction, we have a consultation and they set each workspace up for each employee.
If i recall the desks, are all individually adjusted, the chairs, and the workspace is laid out to minimise any risks of RSI
The chairs have something like 10 different ranges of movement.

I was wondering how the term "chairman" was coined.
Could it be that the gaffer at the top gets the cushy chair whilst the minions have to make do with milking stools?

Mr Snazy - may I ask who the manufacturer is?
If you want a seriously good chair guys, there is no better than an Aeron by Herman Miller.
It keeps my back taught and in shape. Prior to me procuring one, horizontal Olympics were out of the question.
Cyril.

Raynor Ergohuman, has sort of an alloy exo skeleton round the back, similar to an Aeron but with a head rest. I paid over £500 for it when they first came out, but they are nearer to £300 now!! Works well.
Aeron are good as mentioned though.
