Can't wait for the keynote. My money is ready for the iPhone - and our lass wants one too....and she did mention something about lack of staying power (I thought she meant battery charge though )

US and UK AppleStore sites are down (along with the majority of other Apple online stores) which gives more credence to the fact that something will be new/changing, as you typically would not take stores offline for just a developers conference.

Makes sense, the 2.0 SDK was released a while back, so he can witter on about that, doesn't mean he's talking hardware, but I'm positive he will

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. No need to purchase costly RIM servers, and we all know how the beancounters love saving money.

Oh and for anyone reading who is thinking "Get on with the product announcements, stop it with all these stats and examples of dev environments", don't forget this is primarily a keynote for developers, you know, the smelly, shaggy haired, unkempt types that live in the basement or the server room, and these types feed on stats and dev environments, makes them feel superior to you Plus don't pish them off as they are the ones who will help you get your iPhone v2 talking to the weird servers you use

There seem to be 2500 current viewers on that stream, which explains the ever so slight lag

*edit * Make that 3000 viewers now!

pmsl, looks like that's now taken down the entire live.yahoo.com server, as it's currently unavailable
