Scoobs in Reading
#33
"Recently acquired" Green MY97 4 door UK Turbo, which now lives just south of Reading.
1st Scoob, 1st post on scoobynet!
Bumped into - not literally - a very nice P1 carrying personalised plate heading south on the A33 this afternoon. The car must have noticed me because the driver detoured to follow me for a short way. I figure they may well have been from near Reading as well coz they seemed to know the roads. Looked like heading for the lanes (now there are some fun roads just off the A33...) I would have played but work beckoned... (excuses, excuses)

Tony,
I live in Tadley which is just on the hants/berks border M8.
Its only a 20 minute cruise (13 minute blast when food beckons.
The weekday buffet at the Wok is a cheap way to entertain the misses :-D
Plantie,
I think you were behind me this morning heading towards the Black Dam Roundabout in Basingstoke. (silver MY00PPP with SWRT sticker on boot). The RB5 looked very nice in the rear view M8.

Plantie,
Can't make the curry night as I have family down for the week M8. I'll keep my eyes posted for more local meets though especially if they involve a good curry.
Your right about the bulbs. A one eyed flash from a scooby doesn't help the image much.....A thumbs up would have been noticed though as I always keep one eye glancing at the rear view especially when another beast is looming large :-)

Today I saw a Blue new shape WRX (owned by a student I think), a green scooby and a silver one in the retail park. My red WRX was parked in front of PC World. I study in Reading but live in Oxford.
edit ~ A few scooby has flashed at me on the way to Reading in the morning and I have done the same. Was it any of you?
