Dont get me wrong, I will be ok next month but I have had to fork out £400 for a service this month,£900 mortgage,45 sky,50 mobile,20 internet,40 gas,40 elec,25 water,45 insurances,125 council tax,250 loan etc etc. But when I want something, I have to get it straight away! lol

Oh yeah how could I forget just had to clean out the savings account to pay for things needed after a service on the wifes 2002 Jeep Cherokee £2050.

This is actually a very interesting thread. Although a lot of people have said elsewhere that they are prepared to spend their last penny keeping their Scoob on the road, the vast majority seem to draw the line at borrowing money to do it. Rather refreshing in this day and age.

Yeah, it's prob worth about 4k so it did cross my mind !! I think it was down to bad servicing before we owned it ie. just driving it through the workshop

Thing is it's worth more to us coz it's low miles and contrary to the big bill has never let us down.
