cheers fellas

gonna leave the skirts black as I like the contrast to the red, when I put a splitter on it will remain black also to compliment the skirts

thanks Chris

they were my mates wheels that were on the car while the work was being carried out, if I had any money left I would have been very tempted to make him an offer for them as they just sit in his shed but they are 16s and I had not long put new tyres on my black 17s. Besides as nice as they look they would not really compliment the theme I have going on

they would make great track wheels but I simply dont have any money left right now

thanks folks

bioforger, as nice as FMS's bonnet looks its not for me, besides FMS has already done it. I have another idea for the bonnet that will happen next year sometime when the whole car is repainted

Its funny, before the accident I was happy with how the car looked and after having the suspension work done I considered it basically finished (as far as these things are ever finished but you know what I mean) but through doing the repair build I now have some new visions for it so watch this space

Thanks mate

Nearly 4 months to go from the way it was in the first pic on this thread to the ones you see above, doing bits when I could fitting it around work trips to London and some seriously bad weather. If it had not been for my boss allowing me to use the warehouse then I dont think we would even be close to being on the road yet.

Perhaps you should give your boss a ride-of-his-live to say thank you, if he has not already.

LOL my boss has a 22b with a 2.5 conversion and an 'n' huge garrett turbo

thing is though he had not long had the car back from the engine being built, we had a straight line event at our local airfield and I beat him by 0.6 of a second, dont ask me how this was possible, only difference we could think of was that I was doing full bore starts and he was not

he blew the turbo up on it the day after at the track day while giving someone a hot lap so I think it had either been not set up right or not built properly but none the less, I kicked his **** and thats all that matters

he drove my car at the track day and was extremely impressed with the way it delivered the power

he still has not got his back on the road

Thanks guys

Not sure about it being a blessing though, a blessing would have been my lottery numbers coming up when I was scratching around for money to fix the car

I am still undecided whether it looks better now than it did before

IMO it certainly looks more agressive now than it did which I like, but I also liked how it looked before, this is how it looked before the accident

Personally i dont like the little mini scoops but other than that it looks nice mate.
Black intercooler would tie in well with the theme too
