Hail the new King ...... second only to the Iconic Classic

The Impreza went from the MY2000 Classic to the MY2008 ... the in-between models were not relevant

08 all the way

you would loose a fortune on the 07 modle

you should pay no more then 21-22k if you must have last years modle

ut no dout the antiques roadshow crew will be on shorty to say the 07 looks better and the 08 isand Astra/kia etc

08 in black is stunning espacially with gold wheels

07 because it has a bigger boot. The 08 is ridiculously small for a hatchback

well well, good thread, I never thought I was going to get such a good reponse!

So it is

25 votes for the 2007
24 votes for the 2008

At the moment I have STi v3 and can see the benefits of having a functional boot.

My STi3 is going to go in the market within a few week and I am only selling because I am going to relocate to the Middle East for work.

So with that in mind, I am thinking what car to get there....so there are the 2 options the 2007 and 2008 STI. as someone pointed out I can haggle more for the 07.... the car is being sold for about £17k, which is not bad for a 0 miler!

So, I am not worried about tax, petrol, MPG.

I still need to make a descition and test drive both.!

many thanks for all your inputs (apart for those suggesting EVOs....we are talking about real reliable cars here in SCOOBYnet!)

cheers!

Blimey, an 07 without any question!!

I'm actually surprised at the amount of people on here who are suggesting the 08.

As another member mentioned above, it was only a couple of months ago that literally every single member on here hated the 08 model.

UK or Import?

Uk get the MY07, Import get the MY08(looks better than the UK car).

This one as posted before http://www.wrxownersclub.com.au/news...wrx_sti_rr.jpg is the jap spec one with the wheel upgrade, and not wheels off the old model.

The rear lights, whilst still crap looking, look better IMO not having the red for the fog light.

Or, neither of the above, get a 22B.
