134.01 golden crowns for dated CS Lewis spot
Although due to highly geared speculation by the dwarven kings and elves following their massive losses in the beanstalk market it's expected to spike as high as 250.
The smart money is of course diversifying into magic bean futures, enchanted rings etc

This whole cycle of inflation is very interesting, as it's focusing the debate on whether high oil prices are inflationary or deflationary. The Bank of England are caught. Hike rates, and thwart the economy even more. Cut rates, and all the bubbling inflation pressures come out to play. In my opinion they're best leaving them alone for the moment, even though it's almost inevitable we'll be entering a period of stagflation, ie inflation with no growth. As ever, the depth and duration of the US recession will play a big part in determining the UK's fate.
