I could never drink tea out of any mug let alone a dirty one. Tea has to come from a clean china cup nothing else.

Personally I have no issue with something like that. My idea of dirty is when you actually get lumps of something, or some strange extra taste. A little staining is of no consequence to me anyway.

If you cannot cope with cups like that, never ever look inside my kettle. That has enough furry limescale to start a small scale snowstorm if you actually managed to get it airborne.
