2.0 Zetec engine, 200ish bhp, and clearly the fastest thing out there by far
(Sorry Budgie - out of interest timed a few of your laps around the 1.03 mark)

I can't speak as this was my first outing on a real track.... but that EVO seemed to go past me far too fast before reaching PHB?
I'm sorry if I held too many people up? I was checking the mirrors as much as poss. and stuck to the left when I could....
I thought I did alright and actually enjoyed it after getting past the initial fears.... I only wish I had more time to get used to it?
Oh well, I'll have to put in a few more laps of the Ring to make up for it!!!!!
THANKS MOLEY!!!!! What a nice guy!!! (and also nice to meet your other half)
I really have the bug now!!!!!! Mrs BB was more nervous than me!!!!

Hi mate
Was going to come and find you, but was running around trying to sort out some recovery.
Think the bottom end let go. Lots of knocking and banging from the engine, and oil pressure was below 1 bar.
New engine goes in next Sunday though!!!
(nice flames BTW mate)
Tiny - sorry i didn't chat for long, was having a nightmare getting the track session organised.

The grip that Westfield had was awesome, braked so much later than anything else today, possibly including the RCM and Zen cars! Funds allowing that will be my next toy, but maybe a lightweight bike engined one. 550Kg inc driver, 180 bhp, 13,000rpm, sequential gearbox = Huge Grin

Guy's a quick thank you to all that turned up to support the TEAM ESC car and Mocom car..
I'm absolutely gutted that i missed out for the final by 0,1 second (1 position).
But i guess that just goes to show the caliber of cars out there and the quality of the drivers.
Sorry i didn't get over to see you all, but sadly yet again Brads hit back at me with several issues, that ment every session was followed by some drastics modifications.
I was also very dissapointed that they closed the pit area off again. For me that was one of teh highlights from last year and one of the great points from Silverstone, that the public or rather the club supporters can come down, view the cars up close and chat to the drivers.

Have a look at doing one of the novice days with MotorSport Vision - A New Era in British Motorsport They are well run events and are aimed at people getting used to the track and trackdays in general. Not badly priced either..
