I think the mileage scares alot of people off your car, choccy. Despite engine rebuild and new 'box.
An engine bay clean wouldn't go a miss. Mine used to alook a mess when I bought it, some degreaser and truck wash goes along way - it should look like this- MY97 and no laquer either! Some matt black on anything rusting and get rid of the blue stuff.
Front seats could de with a wet-vac. Other than that and the stickers, not much else. If you still have the stadards bit (low level spoiler, exhaust, etc) put them back on, and ebay the modded bits or sell them on here there's always demand for spoilers and exhausts![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)

Its pretty damn good for the mileage....I'd expect a ruddy great hole in the driver's seat and the body to resemble the surface of a golf ball

shouldnt have done it as i cant afford it, but ive popped to halfords and picked up the following...
from reading the advice, the best way for the laquer to apply is to run the engine for a few mins after spraying, then wipe with a cloth for excess etc.
il take off the blue hose covers too and see what it looks like afterwards. whatevers left over il keep for the next car i get i suppose.
- autoglym engine and machine cleaner: £6.99 for 1ltr (seemed pretty good value)
- gunk engine laquer/protector: £4.99 for 500ml (as per advice on scoobypedia)
- halfords cone wheelbrush £3.99 (can use this as an irritant after spraying degreaser)

ive had loads of people come to view my 99 peugeot 206, which I have advertised £900 below book price, granted its not perfect but ive advertised it correctly and not missed anything out, and still people pick faults and offer silly money. someone offered me £600 the other day, I couldnt believe it, I had to remind them it wasnt a rusty fiesta! I feel really sorry for the people that are trying to shift expensive motors.

I've been looking for a week or two and I can't really find any non-modified cars that are reasonable money at the moment. I want a WRX STI.
So much so, I am actually going to look at a Focus ST-3 tomorrow.
