How many shopping lists do you have, Ginge? If it contains anything like what you've put on mine, I'd be worried. Imagine what you'd get in the States instead of the UK equivalent

Make the most of it, but I am sure you will anyway. Hope your mum is ok and not having to look after those children.

Hey Steph, thanks for that.
Just spoken to mum, she is in very good spirits, and back to the hospital on Friday for tests.
Still no sign of my sister showing her face at the house though. Not seen her since Friday last week.
My friend Laura however is the newly adopted daughter for mum who has really taken a shine to her. So thats a good thing.

We are off to Universal now

Waiting to see if a US ebayer will send to this house too, for a Garmin sports GPS watch

Caught some good rays today too
Mate, I'd have you buying out Abercrombie & Fitch

The only thing or person im missing is my mummy and my mally
It just passes the time between going out, getting changed, and getting more money from the atm for more trainers. lol

I have a couple of pairs of Nikes so far, more to come
Sea World today for a few hours, caught some sun and thats about my day

lol @ spending more time on here than usual, somehow I doubt that, just saying everything a lot faster

Hi Steph, thanks for asking.
She is a lot better now, regular checks at the hospital, twice weekly, and self injecting some meds now too. Eeew nice!

But in general a lot better. Still not that mobile, but can get to the shops now, so she is happy.

Thanks for asking all the same

Indeed mate. She is on Warfarin now, so being monitored for her clotting ability.
Down side of course is that she has refused any more chemo, so as the lumps begin to grow again, her condition could worsen quite rapidly. But making the most of her wellbeing right now

my grandad was on warfrin tablets years ago if im right they are a water tablet?

if so remember to keep her upright just after taking it because with my grandad they didnt do that in hospital and left him lay down and because the water was at his feet it basically made his lungs drown

I'm glad she's feeling a bit better.

Did you have a nice holiday?

sorry if you have posted about it i only check here every few days/weeks to see how your mum is doing

Warfarin is for blood thining, anti-coagulation. The chemo has a habit of causing clots, which she ended up with, in her lungs. Hence the last stint in hospital.

Gonna be a long term thing for her. Main concern being she will bleed a lot more if she gets a cut or bruise if she takes a fall or bump.

are there any rules about what to post on a community forum?

your sort of post is highly unwanted on any sort of forum, if you have nothing constructive to add then may i suggest you do not read the thread in the first place

You should be ashamed for those posts you have made here. If you don't want to know about or to give Snazy some support, I suggest you dont open this thread and effectively mind your own business.
