Ok, if I don't post this, bl00dy Geezer will shop me anyway.

I'm scared of thunder and lightning, unless I am in a car.

I genuinely get real increased heart rate and get restless, particularly if the storm is at night. I usually go downstairs, close the curtains and put headphones so the music drowns it out!!

I hate the sudden flashes and then waiting for the noise. Strange really, coz I love fireworks.

My next door neighbour is terrified of this too. We only have to hear a slight rumble and know that she will come running round for "protection" but she doesn't bring her little girls with her so they are left alone even though they too are scared of it. I now refuse to let her in at these times.

Beer on keyboard!

I was never scared of heights until I had to audit a Romanian oil company. I had to climb a long, wobbly staircase to the top of a huge storage tank. Half way up, this bloody stairway was bouncing up and down by about 4 feet. I had to go right up to the top though as all the locals were watching the silly ENGLIIISH-man!

I now struggle with cat ladders!

I did'nt think I was scared of snakes - until I stupidly chased a dugite - very poisonous -minding its own business crossing a golf fairway. It got angry raised its head about a metre off the ground and hissed. Every hair on my body stood on end and I backed right off .That was real fear. Fear deep rooted in our pysche or certainly in mine.

Heights but only certain situations...

No problems on a chair lift, but parts of where I work are pretty high, 300ft and often you are standing on an open grate. Oh and when its windy the towers sway
