Well have been to see a hand specialist here in France.
He started off by telling me the surgery was very good work but he was shocked they did such a drastic operation without trying other methods first
Normal thing to do would have been to break my radius and shorten it a little then reset it
But this may not have worked so they might have had to do what they did at a later date anyway.
He wasn't worried about the piece of scalpel blade and told me to wait and see it will probably just stay where it is and the pain/aching I get now is just normal considering what has been done.
So all is well
for now

Well out of my league, but I also ended up with a huge bruise on my chest..... from a dentist pulling a wisdom tooth, and yes I was awake, but well away with the pixies at the time.
I remember sitting in the bus station, for the next bus (2 PM), just for a rest... I got in at 10 PM !
LOL

Sorry, no x-rays, but the score so far.....
Glass through knee front to back after falling on broken bottle.
Snapped thumb in motorbike accident, screwed back together, also crushed right foot.
Fractured skull, hairline fracture in my neck, chipped lumbar vertebrae, bruised kidneys, partial dis-location of one hip, generally beat up, motorbike accident, Fiesta ran over my head.
Various broken, bashed, twisted fingers and toes from playing hockey.
Usual cuts, scrapes from childhood mishaps, plus appendix out, and gall bladder via keyhole surgery.
Don't think I've missed anything
