I'm sure if he has upset enough people a small whip round could take place to get a "professional" to deal with it and recover various monies owed

Most of these users had pm'd him repeatedly, only to be ignored, while Daz was updating his project threads (i.e. still actively posting on SN). He has never given a satisfactory answer to why the goods were not sent, just a lot of vague excuses.

As my dad always said: where there is smoke, there is probably a fire.

Make your own minds up, but unless he has the best excuse in the world and a way to prove it, I know where I stand on this one.
I see your point completely, as a counter argument, I'd just say that my dad used to say: throw enough s*it and it starts to stink!

He also used to say: "you'll never amount to anything, son!"....but I digress!

Just tracked down the thread you spoke.

I agree, it doesn't look good. But it looks increasingly like this is going to get beyond the "SN court" from some of the posts on here!

Sad when it comes to this: I've had a number of very good dealings with people on here and you couldn't blame someone for thinking that a well established member with a paper trail (i.e. their paid membership) would be trustworthy.

Will be interesting to see how this one pans out.

This will be my one and only reply!

Firstly, yes I have moved house but I have rented my house to my sister who had a visit from a "heavy" a couple of days ago.
Considering that I have only given this address out to 3 people Scooby clinic, The fella who bought my seats off me and a scoobynetmember whom I bought something off. I also have been kindly passed proof of this being giving out via PM.

The individual in question threatened my sister on the basis of harming my 10 year old nephew and my 4 year old niece unless she either gave him my new address or I turned up.

I turned up, he said he was here on behalf of scoobynet and some of its members and then tried to intimidate me. This fella is now in DRI with a broken right knee, fractured sternum and severe bruising to the adams apple. I have got the police involved. If people have a problem with me fair enough but to threaten violence on a 10 year old boy and a 4 year old girl is dispicable.

Firstly lets put the record straight, yes I have an issue with a fella and a gearbox and a fella with some brakes both of which will be resolved fairly shortly.
However there are people that have posted on here that have posted utter lies.
For instance Dan, you have mentioned in a couple of posts now that you've had dealings with me and that I ripped you off.

Either provide proof of this or get yourself cleared off. I have absolutely no idea who you are or what item you are reffering to is. I have never sold anything to anyone in the south west and I'd remember as I used to be based in Bickleigh Barracks Plymouth and RNAS Yeovilton.
I even asked you to provide proof via PM but you didn't reply
Post links to said item(s) and the dispute or shut up, dead simple.

Urban, two flaws in your statement, infractions are anonymous so how could you possibly know it was me?, I also wouldn't have bothered as the infraction system is a complete waste of time

Now on to Scoobyclinic, if you wish to conduct your business in this very public manner then so be it.

What you should have done is to either e-mail me, pm me or do things through the proper channels such as the court not attempt to start a witch hunt how do you think this looks to potential customers!!

The scooby clinic matter is over a £400 insurance excess payment following a repair they did for me following severe front end damage to my car.

They'd had the car for nearly three months and considering I was fully comp and the other party admitted responsibility I just wanted the car back. I was too hasty it would appear. Whilst I cannot criticise the quality of the work carried out (it was top notch) I had some issues a day or so later which SC refused to rectify.

1. The night after I picked the car up I got a pink rectifcation notice from the police as my headlights were shining way to high and dazzling people.
2. I'd asked for colour coding of the door handles, mirrors, and side and rear skirts of the car the rear skirts were left black.
3.Things were replaced on the car that didn't need replacing and for lesser quality items. Engine pulleys (they were undamaged in the accident) Indicators and side repeaters replaced with items with standard "fried egg bulbs" my indicators and side repeaters were undamaged and all had silver tec bulbs in.
4. My original morrettes had the load level motors on them (I swapped them over from the OEM units myself) they disappeared even though it was only the plastic cowling surrounding the morrettes that was damaged.

I contacting them about this and they refused to give me my old parts back.
I therefore withdrew funds from my bank so the excess cheque wouldn't clear.
They then took me to court. I lost the case. The only reason I did so was because I didn't return the defence paperwork in time as I was working abroad.
I decided as I lost the case and because of the sum involved I couldn't be bothered to chase it. I went to see Kev at Scooby clinic and decided the best course of action is to just swallow my pride, apologise and move on. I did this face to face in person. We arranged repayment terms od the excess £400 and I thought that was the end of the matter. Next thing I read on here is that he's been telling everyone how victorious they were and that I went back there with my tail between my legs grovelling blah blah blah.
Courtesy of Tidgy, Stickymicky and a few others.

You just couldn't let things remain sensible and amicable could you Kev?
I'll tell you this now, you without any doubt whatsoever, will not be getting another penny off me. I'll be paying my £85 to the small claims court to appeal. If I lose I'll go bankrupt you're getting nothing!!

I'll also ensure that everybody knows how you conduct your business when things go wrong. You've broken the law in handing out my home address, you're trying to intimidate with this bullsh!t witchhunt tactic. You're a loud mouth that cant resist the opportunity to tell everyone the situation.

In short, Scoobyclinic are absolutely dire to deal with don't spend your money there folks.

I wonder what the insurance company will say when they find out that you been replacing things that quite simply didn't need to be replaced and needlessly inflating their costs???
If you're going to play this very public game Kev be prepared for the consequences!!!

I'm certain that all this will cost you far more than £400 in lost custom. I have nothing to lose or gain with threads like this, my reputation matters not on here. I'm sure yours does though.

Here's some of the pictures taken at the time.
The damage showing non damaged front indicators and silvertec bulbs

rear skirts unfinished

Undamaged engine pulleys that were unessacarily replaced no doubt at additional cost for the insurance company.

You wanted to do this publicly, so be it!!

nobody from the clinic has told me anything regarding the court case

to be honest, i heard the details, from a lass who lives in yorkshire, who had came up to revolution in newcastle for a scooby meeting, so i can only assume the info i was told was pretty much spread around the entire UK anyway

Which is exactly my point, it's come from one source, Kev at Scoobyclinic.
I was quite happy just to pay SC the excess back and have the whole issue over and done with and then Kev opens his trap and tells everyone what happened when I came to see him. A great example of your customer service integrity is that Kev.

Had you just let it be I'd have been down paid the balance in full and the matter would have been over with. You can kiss my **** now sunshine you're getting NOTHING!!!!!

Hi,I have been forced to make this post due to being completely let down by Mr. Davies and H.M.C.S. I hope it serves as a warning to people in a similar situation.
The story unfolds August 2006 when Mr.Davies subaru was deliberatly crashed into by his wife, it came to us as an insurance job which was authorised 6th september 2006.Work comenced and the vehicle completed ready for collection end of September, Mr. Davies signed his satisfaction note and paid his excess with a cheque, company policy is not to rellease the vehicle untill the cheque clears, however as Mr. Davies was a high profile scoobynet user we gave him the benifit of the doubt and relleased the vehicle, big mistake !! On Mr. Davies project thread at the time he posted a big thanks to scoobyclinic for going the extra mile, carrying out blue detailing to all his brackets and certain ancilleries and repairing his rear 1/4 panel that he damaged himself. all free of charge, he stated the quality of work was second to none, so imagine my suprise when we recieved his cheque back, "refere to drawer", a quick phone call to Mr. Davies had him explaining personel problems. At scoobyclinic we try very hard to work with people and told him not to worry just drop us a bit of cash every month untill its cleared. He never did. After numerous phone calls over the next 10 months some civilised and some not so civilised, one ending with Mr.Davies threatening to smash my face in, we had no alternative but to put him in court. In dec 2007 we won the case and Mr.Davies was ordered to pay in full including court costs by Jan 3rd 2008, again he failed to deliver, we contacted HMCS and was advised to pay for a "warrant of execution" we did and Mr.Davies applied for it to be suspended, offering to pay monthly, we objected yet the judge allowed the suspension of the warrant to go through based on Mr.Davies making his first payment 2nd april 2008, which as you have probably guessed he failed to meet yet again. However a light at the end of the tunnel appeared, Mr.Davies phoned to ask for a little time, promising to pop over on Saturday with the payment, adding "please dont go back to the court I just need a little time", we foolishly gave him the time and of course he failed to show. Two weeks later we contacted the courts ballifs to lift the suspension and re issue the warrant, co-incidently the next day Mr.Davies got in touch promising to come down at the weekend, he was told its now to late, its out of our hands to which he replied "I am on my way" and hung up.We were not sure as to what frame of mind he was going to show up in, if at all. He turned up shook hands and appologised explaining he had had his head up his *** due to a nasty divorce, and could we bury the hatchet, he paid his first installment, a month late but it was a step in the right direction, or was it? No other payments or contact have been recieved from Mr.Davies so we had no alternative but to send the court ballifs back in.We recieved a letter from the courts stateing the warrant could not be executed due to the defendants property being vacant and that this notice is a final return and no further action will be taken by HMCS untill we can find the guys new address, we can only assume he has done a runner !We feel let down by Mr.Davies who shook hands, looking us in the eye and even talking about puchasing one of our new range of turbochargers and HMCS We are actually £300.00 worse off now due to court costs than we were if we had let Mr.Davies get away with the original £400.00 cheque and the courts can do nothing.
I hope if nothing else this post serves as a warning to people out there who find them selves in a similar situation, might as well get some proffesional debt collectors in, some big fellas, rather than going through HMCS.For those of you who may think this is unproffessional of me to post this case please remember its all on HMCS gov.co.uk for every one to see, it is public information, and I firmly bellieve con men like Mr.Davies should be exposed. We have had dozens of P.M,s concerning deals where Mr.Davies has cheated people, some from abroad, what kind of profile does that give scoobynet and in fact the U.K. in general ? I do understand though why the webmaster cannot ban him, he will just pop up with another user name, but eventually people will find him.

Cheers Kev

I do not know any of you involved but the first rule in any business deal is always 'there are no friends in business' ......

Companies normally wait for cheques to clear for a reason before they relinquish the serviced goods.

Commenting only on the issue between SC and DD, I have to say that the reply made on SCs behalf does little to address the issues. A satisfaction note signed at the time of collection does not adequately deal with the allegation about parts being removed and SC refusing to return them when this is discovered.

If he is in hospital surely admitting assault on a public forum isn't the best thing to do?
Also what are the problems with the deals on here, people are chasing their goods and you have their money. It cant be hard, send them the goods or refund.

Sounds like it! While I can understand if he took a fall down the stairs for his actions (probably not looking where he was going, right?) and I don't really agree with eye for an eye if he didn't raise a hand to them.

Actually you know what? If anyone threatened my family or friends they'd be put through a wall. Well done to the wobbly staircase he must have fell down. I'd buy it a beer if it was able to drink

Also... why can't these people be on big brother? It'd make for some pretty good TV. Or get them in front of Judge Judy
