I've spoken to the old codger and he's going to drag what's left of his body over if he's not had something else fall off....

 

OK Boys and Girls, just re-confirmed with the FB that were coming down on the Wednesday.

They still have the rule that under 15's must be out of the pub by 9:30, but they now have outside covered seating and heating which can used beyond that.

This is still a PITA and is the main reason we left there and can never go back for any regular meet.... But hey ho, it'll be nice to relive some memories...

Sorry I can't make this guys/gals, I'm stuck in Spain for 2 weeks in sweltering heat and have to sit by a pool all day with nothing but a family and beer for company (what's worse is at night I have to go out and eat at a Spanish restaurant which costs peanuts and has gorgeous red wine on tap)
Have a great anniversary meet.
I worked out (with our old timer smacs members) that we're just over 5 years old too, around about March 2003 was our first "official" meet. Looks like we'll have to celebrate our 6th year now then
