engine bay and shots of the car

best way to settle this out would be to take your car to a weigh bridge and then to a reputable rolling road then you could tell us exactly what your power to weight ratio is...can't argue those facts.
J200WRX you are missing the point; if you don't want to hear negative opinion don't post it's a (well relatively these days), a free country so lets all have our say and if you aren't tough enough to deal with the arrogance, (or is that just a different opinion?), don't post

I think you are missing the point; its all good that you want to do that and you should be able to do exactly what you want...it is your car after all But by that same token you have to be prepared for people to dislike it because its your taste not theirs and being a public forum they have the right to shout about it

i guess this is a lot about how you define a chav...most on here would use it to describe someone whose car mods are what they consider to be tacky. Examples of chav mods, imo are flamer kits, anything that lights up on the outside of the car that isn't an head\rear\side\indicator lamp and Lex-****\after burner rear lights...pointless mods in other words.

tbh if you aren't tough enough to deal with a little name calling then you best sell the car, especially with neons fitted...most of the 40+ers are having a mid-life crisis anyway

i was looking through pistonheads last night, and found this...
Subaru : Subaru Impreza WRX "Top UK Show Car"
link to his personal website... Model
muddies car. now to the o.p., that is a real show car, a concours standard show car. that is how you are slightly different without going chav tacky with your mods.

fair neough that is a nice and have seen it at alot of the shows i have been to
i think i am old enough to take some name calling but dont like to be assciated with a chav when i am far from it
i suppose its down to personal taste at the end of the day i think tis sad seing people drive around the their subarus wit htere subaru clothing on etc
who keep there cars standard when the rally car extensivly modidfed i could see it if it was porche 911 or a slk or m3 but not a subaru
