I'm not sure of the exact lettering involved, but I chap I knew had "bollox" as a private plate, used to be on a 911, think it's on a Merc now. Part of his business is stud bullocks, so it seemed appropriate.
Another chap lived in the US in the 70's and early 80's and had the plate w*anker (without the * of course). Seems they didn't get what it meant, hence why he got it.

I've seen LU51FER on what I thought was a GT40 a while ago, although the plate is registered now to a Ferrari - thought it would have been better suited to a Diablo

Plates used to be great until the DVLA got on the bandwagon and the 'try hards' followed.
I have a few great plates that have been on retention for years now as like lots of things that become popular and 'abused' the appeal wears thin.

Saw an Aston a few weeks back with '5 MUG'. There's also 'G1POE' near me. Saw an XR3 many years ago with 'KYL1E' and a guy near me had 2 Merc's with 'R50LED' and 'R500LED'. Oh, and spotted an Astra today with 'B17CH B' (as it was spaced).
