Solution to dodgy oil pressure gauge
A few posts back I asked about a solution to a problem I had with my oil temp gauge (needle erratic or not working at all). The solution was to replace the sender unit with a replacement from Nick (Gaugeplace). I called him and he was good enough to send out a replacement for a tenner. Swapped it over and the gauge has been behaving ever since.
Thanks to Julie for the original tip.

We can still get 10% off these gauges.
The full price is now £114.90 so with the discount £103.41 delivered
Go onto Xybers website enter the discount code is "scoobynet_stepperpromo" in the web site when you order and it will give you the discount.
Then can you email Danny danny@globalennovations.com just to tell him I have passed the code on to you and to confirm which gauges you want
If you need any other info look through the first few pages lots of info there

Was looking on google yest to see what I could find out about Gaugeplace and I saw an recent "old" post on Surrey Scoobies about a guy on ebay who sold Prosport Gauges too. I mailed him yest and he had a new sensor bought it for a £11.00 delivered so fingers crossed that's me sorted.. I think I've just been unlucky with mine as a lot of other people who bought them on the GB have had no issues with theirs, the way it goes sometimes ?

maydew - where did you get your gauge holder, it looks wicked.
Do these gauges come with the sensors/adapters I will need or where do i get them from? I'm looking at Boost, Oil Pressure & Oil Temp.
I have seen lots of dash top pods on ebay but they all say 01-04, I have the version 9 with the new style dash, does anyone know if these will fit?
Chris

yep comes with everythin needed to fit.
pod was from scooby world but to be honest yeah it looks good outside but underneath the fixings where poor, pull off sharp and it would off landed on your lap. i took the heater vent out and bolted it down instead of using the cheap tat fixings that came with it as they were doing nothing.
heres vid and pic

i retained the clock from the oem pod and mounted it in the single din unit

dont get me wrong pods looks wicked ,i used 1 13mm nut and bolt (use instead of the clip at the front corner(heater vent out and you get full access to tighten) ,and 2 small strips of foam on the back prongs to stop any rattles

Hi all.... Just a quick one.... finally fitted the gauges almost 6 months after buying them but couldn't quite work out where the exhaust gas temp sensor should be fitted.
Has anyone else bought one of these and fitted it? Any tips or ideas?

personal choice i always get bar...
i have fitted my exhaust gas temp sensor in the up pipe just before the turbo, where the factory one is if you have a cat in place(newage),you will need an adaptor tho
"10) ADAPTOR 1/8NPT (F) TO M12x1.25 (M) SHORT STYLE"
