looks awesome, big props for doing this...most impreza drivers' egos mean they need a scoop

only draw back is that it's so much heavier than the standard sti alloy one

The sport bonnet looks a million times better than that carbon eye-sore.

Very tempting to try it as well...

I love everything about this car except the carbon bonnet. It just clashes with the otherwise smooth subtle style of the rest of the car. Carbon in OE style works okay, this one has just too many vents/louvres for my liking.

Apologies to DaOne if offended - just an opinion and not meant to offend. As above, everything else on this car is stunning!

Completely understand the weight argument though. Is it possible to get an alloy or carbon sport style bonnet?

in the usa they have the rs version of the classic so i think they should do a carbon version of the sports bonnet.

for what i use the car for i dont notice the extra weight of the bonnet, but to be honest i dont notice it eather when i have people in the car. 90% of the time it is driven around on low boost, and when i want to have some fun i wack it on high boost and let them 400 horses start to gallop

Ross you can probably get a GRP one made up pretty easily if they are not readily available...Immortal Performance (who made my bonnet), or perhaps HTS Auto's can probably help

Looks awesome, Trying to keep my STi 6 styling subtle, removed my rear standard jdm tints, removed the sti fog light stickers, and removing my rear wiper blade and motor and destickered the tailgate etc. Been toying with the idea of removing the STi 6 standard hugh spoiler and trying the smallish turbo 2000 spoiler(comes of the boot slightly, not the ironing board one) think it would look good on your car.

you might find that the version 6 spoiler is held on with more bolts than a t2000 one, so you might need to fill them or, if you can pick up a t2000 boot in the same colour with the low spoiler all ready on
